My husband has only $1000 per month from SS, I have been supporting him for 34 years. I have worked and saved what I could. I have a pension, SS, and an IRA. I am 80 yrs. old. He is 82 with Neuropathy. He is wheel chair bound. Large man, eats a lot and has Dementia. Has no control over urine and sometimes bowel movement. It's getting harder and harder to take care of him. I don't want to lose everything I worked for, but I can't keep bathing, shaving, and dressing him. He really needs more than I can give him. What to do ? I would hate to lose all my savings
Because you’ve worked so hard and done so well planning for yourself and your future, spend a little more on an elder law attorney or a Medicaid Planner for peace of mind that your savings are safe.
